By offering artists, educators and practitioners opportunities to develop skills, share knowledge and connect with peers, we contribute to a stronger, more vibrant circus community.

2025 Community Partnership Programmes: Stronger Together Through Circus
At Galway Community Circus, we know that circus has the power to connect, empower and inspire. In 2025, our Community Partnership Programme delivered 23 projects across schools, youth groups and community organisations, opening doors for participants of all ages to explore creativity, build confidence and strengthen social bonds.

Galway Young Artists Collective: Emerging Artists, Big Ambitions
The Galway Young Artists Collective (GYAC) is a unique and inspiring space for young people aged 12–17 who are dedicated to their craft and ready to take their circus journey to the next level. Funded by the Arts Council of Ireland, GYAC supports emerging artists who are eager to push boundaries, explore contemporary circus as an art form and gain experience that prepares them for future study or careers in the performing arts.

At Galway Community Circus, we believe circus is for everyone. In autumn 2025, we were proud to launch Circus is for Every Body, a new project in partnership with Extraordinary Bodies, making circus participation and performance more accessible for D/deaf, disabled and neurodivergent young people in Galway.
