Youth Circus is our membership-based circus arts education programme for children and young people ages 5 to 24. Registration is currently open for classes beginning 15th September.
Youth Circus is about providing opportunities for artistic, personal and social growth in a fun, non-competitive atmosphere.
At Galway Community Circus, Youth Circus refers to our membership-based circus arts education programmes for children and young people which focus on the artistic, social and personal development of participants. Delivered in an out-of-school setting, our youth circus programme consists of regular classes, performance opportunities, masterclasses, exchanges, camps and outings.
Class registration for the 2025-2026 circus school year is currently open. Classes begin the week of 15th September.

Toddler Circus in Galway East: Toddler Circus offers a fun and engaging environment where children can enhance their balance, hand-eye coordination, motor skills, and strength through age-appropriate activities like juggling, tumbling, and interactive games. This class also provides an excellent opportunity for parents to bond with their little ones, creating joyful memories while supporting their development.
Flea Circus in Galway East: Our Flea Circus introduces children aged 5 to 7 years to circus arts through a variety of fun games and activities. At this young age, the principles of teamwork, self-belief and understanding can have their foundations, paving the way for further development as they grow older.
Junior Circus in Galway East: Our Junior Circus classes are designed for young people aged 8 to 12 years. We engage in the various disciplines of circus, including aerial, manipulation, balance, acrobatics, clowning, as well as stage presence.
The circus school year starts in September and ends in June. Autumn term is September to December, and spring term is January to June. When you register your child for this class, you are registering them for weekly classes from September through to June.
Eastside classes take place at Renmore Community Centre, Renmore Avenue, Galway H91 W259.

Our adult circus classes for ages 18+ allow the opportunity to learn more about your body, movement and self-awareness. Registration is currently open for classes beginning 15th September.
We offer accessible and inclusive circus education programmes for schools, youth and community groups to help develop self-confidence and social skills.
