Youth Circus is our membership-based circus arts education programme for children and young people ages 5 to 24. Registration is currently open for classes beginning 15th September.
The Mayhem Youth Circus Festival is Galway Community Circus's annual festival celebrating circus.
Every year the Mayhem Festival features a variety of different events throughout the week, including our Circus in the Park event, which typically includes free performances by special guest artists and free and low cost circus workshops. The festival typically also includes a special performance by the Galway Young Artists Collective, as well as open classes for our youth circus members where parents/friends can come join in on the fun. In recent years, the Circus Explored Youth Exchange has also been a part of the Mayhem Festival, teaching young people circus and leadership skills to run circus workshops with the public.
Many of the Mayhem Youth Circus Festival events are offered free of charge thanks to our funders Arts Council Ireland, Galway City Council, Galway County Council, Erasmus+, Leargas, Claddagh Credit Union, ISACS and Creative Ireland.
