Circus for All

All our outreach programmes operate under the Circus for All philosophy, which is a growing international movement employing circus skills as a medium for fostering social justice and goodwill.

The Circus for All approach helps disadvantaged, at-risk and vulnerable youth develop self-confidence and social skills, using circus arts as a vehicle to tap into their strengths and hidden talents. By learning to cultivate healthy self-esteem, young people build a more positive relationship, not only with themselves but also with society as a whole.

Over the last three years Galway Community Circus has run regular programmes with RehabCare, Down Syndrome Ireland, Brothers of Charity and Galway Autism Partnership. With the diverse array of circus skills we offer, our outreach programmes are widely accessible and inclusive, allowing participants to realise their potential in accordance with their own abilities.
