Galway Community Circus is looking for new voluntary board members to join us at an exciting time of growth and ambition.
Galway Community Circus is a vibrant, inclusive organisation that uses circus arts to support physical, mental and social wellbeing and create joyful, meaningful experiences for our community. We are seeking people who are passionate about the arts, community development and making a positive social impact.
Being on the board is a chance to:
- Support an award-winning community arts organisation
- Contribute your skills, insight and experience
- Help strengthen access, inclusion and creativity in Galway
We welcome expressions of interest from people of all backgrounds, especially those who feel their voices are underrepresented in the arts and charity sector. We are particularly interested in people with experience in areas such as:
- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
- Governance
- Education
- Finance or fundraising
- HR or organisational development
- Marketing, communications, or audience development
- Community, youth, or social inclusion work
How to Apply
There are about 7-8 board meetings per year. Meetings are usually on Tuesday evenings for a maximum of two hours.
