Step onto the wire and discover the art of funambulism - tightwire walking with a balancing pole. More than just a physical skill, funambulism is a powerful mindfulness practice that promotes mental and physical wellbeing, helping you develop focus, self-belief, and resilience.
You’ll start by learning the essential techniques of balance, posture and controlled movement and gradually move to higher wires. Walking on a wire may look effortless, but it requires patience, courage, and trust in yourself - making it a symbolic and rewarding way to overcome challenges and build confidence.
This is a specialised workshop that takes place at our Westside location in Shantalla.
This course will be taught by Naomhan Mckeon-Joyce.
