Stilt-Walking Club

Stilt-Walking Club allows children and young people learn the basics of stilt-walking, and more advanced tricks over time. Stilt walking is known to improve balance and coordination and helps with resilience, safe risk taking, the thrill of overcoming fears and obstacles. Members of this club take part in the St. Patrick's Day parade each year.

Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing, preferably tracksuit pants. No shorts, or open-toed shoes. Runners preferred.

Unicycle Club

Tuesdays: 6.00-7.15pm
Age group: 8+ years
Fee: €3

Benefits of riding a unicycle include balancing in movement, relying on others, persistence, courage, increased levels of coordination, concentration and balance. Because unicycles don’t have any handlebars, riders must balance using only their abdominal muscles and leg muscles. This helps you build a healthier core. Long cycling sessions also increase your heart rate, which can lead to a healthier cardiovascular system.Members of this club take part in the St. Patrick's Day parade each year.

Mixed Skills Club

Tuesdays: 6.00-7.15pm
Age group: 8+ years
Fee: €3

The third club changes depending on the skills and interest of the teaching team and members. Past Clubs have included, acrobatics, juggling, and a tightwire club.
